Homestead Woodbridge - Newark

I'm always grateful when I wind up with this hotel because with Priceline I'm bidding a price.

It was overall nice but there wasn't much at all around there. It is one of the extended stay hotels. If you were going to be there for awhile there at least was a Walmart but nothing to do. No fitness center, nowhere to walk, no way to go somewhere unless you drive. ...read more

The location looks perfect from the map, but it is really hard to find it after you get off the NJ turnpike. Map quest direction didn't match with the actual address. Most gasoline stations closed at night, we had to drive around to get it in HESS, which was opened 24 hours. The staff claimed that they only provide one queen bed room. After long hour call, I finally asked for two extra comforts for my family with two kids. In the end, they provided us with a sofa & an ottoman. It was not a pleasant experience. ...read more

I would recommend this hotel to everyone for whatever reason they may be traveling. It was wonderful in every way.

The hotel room I stayed in had a bug problem and the room was not as clean as it should be. The rooms amenities were outdated and need to be modernized.

The facility was not well kept. The lobby and entrance had smoke smell. The room seems clean, but if you look carefully you will see hair, stains and bugs on the floor (live and dead ones). There is no service, not even a ice machine. I think I can understand why Extended Stay America is going bankrupt (some of their hotels are actually fairly nice). ...read more
